ARTIST STATEMENT

Clay is the most honest thing. It relies on us, for our honesty depends on what we do with it.
We knead into the Soul, and from that time becomes part of our everyday life, it will be like a family member.

I use for my work everything that inspires me: the colors, surfaces, memories, melodies and the taste of dark chocolate. I find the combination of human judgement and technique exciting and rewarding.
The painting the architecture effect on me, like the evolution of the design as well. I am,however ,also inspired by personal experiences and whilst all of these influences inform my work, I do not consciously try to incorporate them.

I apply the concept of compositional geometry and I tenderize the categorical forms. I'm getting to the realization when I see the form entirely. My drawings are only notes, but every detail is important and designed. Most of my objects are modeled and I shape them after pressing or molding. I'm looking for the harmony in colors and forms.
I rarely address my works, just let them speak by themselves.

I am the happiest when I see that my audience takeing in hand my ceramic subject with sincere joy. I know it will get good place.
I use a variety of materials from high quality white clay to black chamot, my mood decide, which one to work with on that day.
It is important that in addition to functionality, my creations also have an emotional charisma.

I love things which are interesting, varied, challenging and beautiful.
My work constantly evolves.
For more than thirty years of studying the mode of expression with the clay, it is still able to give me something new and exciting.
